The Hague System enables Applicants to file one international application to register up to 100 designs in more then 90 countries. As such separate filing in multiple individual countries will become superfluous. Becoming effective May 5th, 2022 China will join the Hague System for the International Registration of Industrial Designs. China will become the 68th contracting party to the 1999Geneva Act of the Hague Agreement and the 77th member of the Hague Union.
