Starting November 24, 2014 a new workflow is effective with the OHIM. Community trademark applications will only be examined and any according correspondence will only be processed after the application fees are paid.

Coinciding with this change, starting November 24, 2014 accordingly, applicants have the opportunity to apply for a new "fast track" procedure for a quicker publication of their Community trademark application, free of any charge. However, increased conditions apply concerning the quality of the application documents. Furthermore, the filing fee has to be paid immediately and the selected goods and services have to be chosen from OHIMs harmonized data base.
