The team of the patent law firm Bals & Vogel congratulates Sebastian Goebel on the inventor prize of the Ruhr-University Bochum. The Ruhr-University Bochum and rubitec GmbH awards the prize annually to the three best patentable inventions of university members. The jury is formed of industry and science representatives.

In our law-firm, Mr. Goebel is trained to become a patent attorney. The invention originates from the research in the context of his Master thesis at the faculty of electrical engineering. It allows for an advanced, high resolution measurement of sample structures. For this purpose, a signal processing method in the field of digital holography and optical coherence tomography is applied.
