On 1 February 2024, the European Patent Office published this year's revision of the Guidelines for Examination ​​(Your opinion matters – Guidelines 2024 pre-published today​ | Epo.org). The changes will enter into force on 1 March 2024.

The changes include the consequences of the decisions of the Enlarged Board of Appeal G1/22 and G2/22 for the handling of priority rights as well as various procedural changes.
